I tried them once and I'm very dissatisfied with the quality, speed, cost, and so on. I'd prefer not to use them again, but who else is there?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Any alternatives to LULU?
Sat, September 16, 2006 - 7:31 AMYou can do it yourself. It's much, much cheaper and not very difficult. You can run off the inner pages on a photocopier, then either square bind or saddle stitch them. I know lots of zinesters that put out very good work all on their own, and you can too. Takes some practice, but the cost/return is far, far better. You can even buy an ISBN/UPC to work with the cover (which will make your items available to amazon & co).

Re: Any alternatives to LULU?
Fri, September 22, 2006 - 4:33 PMI need to clarify. I am talking about Novels. Hardbound or paperback books of more than 300 pages.
A zine won't cut it. I can't afford a 55,000.00 paperback press at this time, nor do I wish to become a printing company.
There must be a 'small press' company out there which can handle the job...
